On Christmas Eve, a young boy hoping for belief in the true spirit of Christmas hears a strange noise coming from downstairs and sets off to investigate hoping to find Santa Claus but instead finds his parents putting presents under the tree.

With his belief in Santa disappearing he is shocked when outside his house a magical train called the Polar Express pulls up and takes him on a journey guaranteed to make him believe!
