Is it your goal to get fit in 2012?

One of the easiest, cheapest and perhaps most enjoyable ways is to begin walking!

The Swindon HF walking group could be your perfect starting point - a friendly group of people whose ages range from mid 40s up to mid 80s.

The HF Walking group arrange walks twice a week on a Wednesdays and Sundays.

Below is the programme of Sunday walks:

22 Jan – Lambourn and East Garston – 8 miles
29 Jan – Lechlade to Eastleach – 9 miles
05 Feb  - Barbury, Ogbourne St George – 9 miles
12 Feb – Edge and Haresfield Beacon – 8 miles
19 Feb – Northleach – 9 miles
26 Feb –Withington, Chedworth and Pinswell – 9 miles
04 Mar –Alton Barnes and Wansdyke – 8 miles

Sunday Walks
The start is 10.00am in Euclid Street close to the council offices and then participants again drive to the start of the walk. A stop is always made to eat a picnic lunch. 

If you do not drive, there is usually an opportunity for car sharing with a small voluntary contribution for fuel being paid to the driver.

Membership costs just £3.00 per year but you can walk with the group up to three times before deciding whether or not to join.
