Caring, really caring for their children is, evidently, not something every biological parent is capable of or inclined to do. Sadly, the number of troubled children, neglected children, and maltreated children remains disturbingly high.

 

Founder of Kids Company in six converted railway arches, winner of Woman and Entrepreneur of the Year awards, psychotherapist, author, and curator of the exhibition Shrinking Childhoods at the Tate Modern, Camila Batmanghelidjh has committed a large part of her life, energy, and money in trying to do something for children.

The spirit with which Camila tackles this task, while still managing to smile, can be found in the answers she gives to the following questions.
