Wednesday 16 May 2012

Molly Maylor Swindon Festival of Literature
How would it feel to have your world blown apart, literally?

In 2005, Britain was booming and Molly Naylor, full of dreams, left her home in Cornwall to make a new life in London. On the 7th of July, she found herself on a Circle Line tube train from Liverpool Street

It was blown up by a terrorist bomb.

In that instant, Molly’s life changed. It was forced to take a different direction. How do we put things back together, after they’ve been blown apart?

Through poems and storytelling, about growing up and finding home, Molly shows how we can manage to put things back together.

Whenever I get blown up, I think of you has been performed to critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and an audio adaptation was broadcast on BBC Radio 4.
