Hundreds of young people from in and around Swindon didn't care it was raining as they put their speed to the test against star sprinter Linford Christie in Broad Green today.
The free sports event was organised by Street Athletics and Swindon Borough Council with Nuff Respect.
Runners had the chance to sprint alongside track star and former Olympic champion Christie, who has been a keen supporting of the Street Athletics project and how it can help build young people's confidence.
“We believe that Sport can play a huge part in engaging young people that reflects positively in other areas of their lives,” said the sports star.
