The Bishopstone & Hinton Parva Amateur Dramatics Group are putting on Alan Bennett's hilarious stage play
Habeus Corpus between 28 November & 01 December.

And the event sponsors, the Michelin-rated Helen Browning at The Royal Oak in Bishopstone, have offered us

FREE pre-theatre suppers to give away for the Wednesday & Thursday night performances.
The prize is two courses worth £15 per head and we're giving away
5 tables of 2!
Food is served from 6-7pm. The play starts at 7.30. The village hall is about 50 yards from the pub.
All the winners will have to do is by a ticket to watch the play at just £6 each.

Habeus Corpus concerns the aging Dr. Arthur Wicksteed and his pursuit of a nubile patient, Felicity Rumpers, while his wife, Muriel, is in turn lusting after the charming head of the BMA, Sir Percy Shorter, Wicksteed's old rival - and Felicity's father!
