Ordinary Courage is Theo Clinkards rousing new work for his company of six dancers and live piano, which brims with visceral and eloquent physicality.
We are defined by how well we rise after falling.
A luminous room lit by Zerlina Hughes and an original score by Alan Stones that incorporates Scarlatti and Bach provide the canvas for some breathtaking performances by an international cast of dancers drawn from the likes of Random Dance, Richard Alston, Siobhan Davies, Sydney Dance Company and Akram Khan.
