Stella Rimington at the Arts Centre

On counter-espionage and all things secretive

Arts Centre
Old Town, Swindon
Tuesday 07 May 2013

What do you know about MI5? What does Liz Carlyle know? What do you know about modern-day cyber-sabotage of world defence systems? What’s real and what’s imagined?

Former Director General of MI5, with first-hand experience of counter-subversion, counter-espionage, and counter-terrorism, Dame Stella Rimington knows a thing or two about all of this stuff and has the experience to give her fictional writing a ring of authenticity.

She has written her autobiography and five Liz Carlyle novels. Her latest is The Geneva Trap. Jessica Fellowes is a journalist and author of five books, most recent of which is The Chronicles of Downton Abbey.

Doors: 8pm

Ticket Prices: £8, Concession £7, Double Ticket for Esther Rantzen & Rimington £13
