Great beer and cider, farm tours, medicinal herbs, lovely food and a good weather forecast - that's the menu at The Royal Oak this coming Saturday 31 August, as they host their end of the summer party, from noon to midnight.

There'll be four real ales & a couple of rustic ciders to enjoy before a long slow stroll through the byways and hedgerows looking at the amazing range of wild plants for health and entertainment.

The Royal Oak might even have some organic fruit and veg to give away, plus tractor and trailer farm tours.

£5 per group/family with a chance to see the pigs and the glorious landscape, enjoy food in the garden all afternoon and evening, and listen to four local bands - including local legend Bob Bowles (above, right) - playing their hearts out from 5.30 till late.

Easy, slightly chaotic, and a whole load of fun!

Time: 12noon - late
