Coleshill 1940s Day

Step back in time for a day of history and family fun
 
Coleshill, near Swindon
Sunday 20 September, 10.00am - 5.00pm
 
Find out what life was like in Coleshill in the 1940s.
 
The Coleshill 1940s Day will celebrate Coleshill's unique place in history as the home of Churchill's Underground Army. Visit the original guardhouse, operational base and climb down the ladder to a replica bunker.
 
There will also be displays of military vehicles, cars from the era, living history re-enactments, talks, exhibitions and a childrens trail plus traditional building and rural skills demonstrations.
 
Coleshill's restored water mill will also be open and there'll be music from the era to set the scene.
 
Tickets: £4.00 Adults, £2.00 Children
