Free swimming weekend
Swimmers to make a splash at Highworth Rec’s free swimming weekend

Flooding in the plant room has led to the closure of the pool on two separate occasions in recent weeks, but following repair work, the facility is back up and running.
And to thank customers for their patience, the leisure centre is opening the pool to all swimmers for free on Saturday (7 Nov) and Sunday (8 Nov).
Junior swimmers are also being given an added treat in the shape of a free ice skating pass for the Link Centre.
On Saturday the pool will be open to casual swimmers between 10am and 4pm and to lane swimmers between 4pm and 5pm.
Lane swimmers can swim for free on Sunday between 9am and 10am and 4pm and 5pm, while casual swimmers can take to the pool between 10am and 4pm.
