A chance to win a recording contract - EASTER WEEKEND

 

Budding musicians and popstars are being invited to enter a talent contest at Swindon Designer Outlet with the chance to win a recording contract.

 

The X-factor style contest hosted by Talent Tour will take place over Easter weekend with contestants getting the chance to experience what its like to be a star by performing in The Rockhopper – a 27 foot restored vintage style airstream caravan.

 

 

Each performance will be played live on a huge plasma screen to the crowd outside and each contestant will get to keep their own professional video and photography from the event.

 

“This is a fabulous opportunity for Swindon to show off its talent and unlike many competitions, everyone is a winner as each contestant will get a fantastic professional video recording of their performance," commented Nick Williams, marketing manager at Swindon Designer Outlet.

 

“The contest is open to any musicians, singers, bands or duos of any age and the event promises to be a fun and exciting day for everyone involved.”

 

The contest will take place between Thursday 1 and Sunday 4 April on Train Street at the entrance of Swindon Designer Outlet.

The Talent Tour is a national competition which is touring the UK throughout the summer. Winners of the Swindon heat will be given the chance to record a 4 track EP along with shooting a promo video. Each regional winner will be entered into a national competition to win the chance to record a complete album worth of material and shoot a promotional video.
