Swindon Festival of Literature 2010 - Matt Harvey
MATT HARVEY – on kippers, curtains, public nudity, and other serious matters.Radio 4 Saturday Live’s Matt Harvey, enemy of all that’s difficult and upsetting, presents a comedy-infused, poetically-enhanced, fundamentally wonder-filled hour.
He is, according to reviews of his sell-out shows in Edinburgh, ‘amenable, trustworthy, talented, and funny’, and ‘wickedly-gifted with words’.
Matt Harvey, whose most recent books are The Whole in the Sum of My Parts and Wondermentalist, uses all these skills to take a wry, thoughtful, and compassionate look at life today.
He is not shy of home furnishings, IT, and queuing, rendering the ordinary extraordinary and the serious rather funny!
