If there is such a thing as a best kept secret in publishing, then M C Beaton may well be it.

Actually called Marion Chesney, author of more than 100 Regency romances early in her writing career, her books outsold JKR last year, and despite her mysteries receiving nationwide exposure on television, her profile remains intentionally low.

But M C Beaton comes out in the Reading Room of Swindon’s prize-winning Central Library, and invites questions, from you!

There will be an opportunity for book buying and signings too.
