A brand new weekend of cycling is coming to Swindon, promising something for everyone who wants to get out on their bike!
The Great Swindon Bike Ride happens over the

Two days of events
Trail rides, mountain biking and road rides
The two days are split between Saturdays trail rides and mountain biking, and a choice of different road rides on Sunday.

"The idea is very much to show that cycling has something for everyone, and that it's a sport you can take as far as you like, even if you're only just starting out", says organiser Phil Harrison.
"Cycling is one of the fastest growing activities in the country at the moment, it's great for commuting, fitness and fun, whether you're just enjoying a day in the country or a full blown sports cyclist."
FREE energy drinks and support stations
All the different rides at the Great Swindon Bike Ride are fully marked out to make them easy to follow, plus you get a back up map too, with GPS routes available for gadget lovers.
Free energy drinks and even feed and support stations are laid on to help riders round the longer courses, and there will be trade stands and demos to see at the event base too.
