Straighten Out were formed in November 2007 from the remnants of an earlier band - "Four More Heroes" - and two new members.
Shaggy (bassplayer/vocalist) and Mick "The Doc" (keyboards/vocalist) reawoke their taste for a Stranglers tribute after the demise of their previous outfit, when they performed a charity gig on behalf of a very good friend who died in a motorcycle accident.
The guitarist/vocalist for this show was none other than Baz Warne, guitarist with the current Stranglers lineup!
