The Film Festival opens with a classic from the master of visual comedy timing, Jacques Tati.

After watching a newsreel about the high-speed efficiency of the US postal service, the postman (Tati) of a sleepy French town is inspired to add a little zip into his own delivery route.

But this coincides with the arrival of the summer fair, and chaos ensues!

Not only is the film one of Tati’s most famous comedies, it is also his directorial debut.

Tickets will probably be available at the venue on the day, but some venues are small, therefore advance booking is recommended.
