From Time to Time (PG)
Part of the Swindon Film Festival 2011This new ghostly family adventure film is based on one of Lucy Boston’s ‘Green Knowe’ stories, and is about a boy who is sent to stay with his grandmother during World War 2, only to find himself whisked back in time two hundred years, where he unravels a mystery that has puzzled his family for generations.
Starring Dame Maggie Smith and Timothy Spall, and written and directed by Julian Fellows (writer of Gosford Park and Downton Abbey).
It's a handsome period production with upstairs downstairs intrigue, plenty of humour and a few scary bits!
Great fun for all the family.
“… an old-fashioned family film that will elight both kids and adults” Eye For Film
