Robin Hanbury-Tenison

ROBIN HANBURY-TENISON – an illustrated talk on The Great Explorers.

Throughout recorded history, whether on terra firma, oceans wide, or the edge space, an amazing succession of ambitious, fearless, and dogged men and women explorers have opened our eyes to the phenomenal physical and natural wealth of our planet and its environs.

However, they were not without faults.

Their stories are as fascinating as their adventures were awesome.

Robin Hanbury-Tenison, conservationist, author, and filmmaker, has been on more than thirty expeditions.

He is editor of The Oxford Book of Explorations, and most recently The Great Explorers.

Tickets - £6 (£5)

DOUBLE TICKET - £10 for two events:

Robin Hanbury-Tenison at 6.30pm and Michael Wood at 8.00pm

Please contact the Arts Centre Box Office to book tickets for this event or contact the Swindon Festival of Literature for any further information.
