John Spurling and Grace Francis

JOHN SPURLING presents A Book of Liszts and GRACE FRANCIS plays Liszt.

John Spurling, playwright and novelist, has taken up the challenge set by Liszt himself, who said: ‘My biography is more to be invented than written after the fact.’

A Book of Liszts – variations on the theme of Franz Liszt tells the amazing story of a remarkable, romantic, and musical genius.

Grace Francis, international concert pianist, whose highly-acclaimed repertoire has Liszt at the top of the list, will play appropriate pieces.

Tickets - £6 (£5)

DOUBLE TICKET - £10 for two events:

Sally Magnusson at 6.30pm
John Spurling/Grace Francis at 8.00pm

Please call the Arts Centre Box Office to book tickets for this event or contact the Swindon Festival of Literature for any further information.
