Highworth Christmas Lights 2011

Another great community night in the market square

 

Once again a bumper crowd gathered in the market square to enjoy the switching-on of the Christmas lights, plus music from the Highworth Silver band, mince pies, fairground rides, carol singing and an appearance from Santa on his sleigh.

 

The countdown started at 7pm with mayor Maureen Penny and David Stone, operations director of Highworth-based TS Tech, who sponsored the lights, having the honour of flicking the switch.
