Remembrance Events 2016

Once again Swindon will be hosting a number of Remembrance events to reflect on the lives of our fallen soldiers  

Remembrance Sunday

Remembrance Sunday Swindon
Highworth

The Remembrance Service will take place at St. Michael's Church at 10am.

Regent Circus War Memorial
Sunday 13 November 2016, 10:00am

Royal Wootton Bassett Remembrance Sunday Parade 
Sunday 13 November 2016, 2.00pm
 
The Parade will once again follow the same format as before, forming up in Iceland Car Park, ready to march at 2.00pm. It will include a large number of ex-servicmen and many organisations and Youth Groups from within the area as well as a large number of young boys and girls from the various Cubs, Brownies and Rainbows Groups.

9.00am - 4.00pm
 
The Field of Remembrance is situated in the Walled Garden in the grounds of Lydiard Park and pays tribute to all the brave Service men and women who have lost their lives serving in Afghanistan.
 
 
The official opening of the Royal Wootton Bassett Field of Remembrance takes place on Thursday 10 November at 11am.
