This breezy comedy, set in New York, centres on two brothers: Alan, who is the sales rep for his father's waxed fruit business, is a charming, girl chasing bachelor relishing his freedom and all the advantages of his own apartment; Buddy, a timid 21 year old who has finally plucked up the nerve to leave home and escape to his brother's apartment with the hope of emulating his life-style.

 

Alan is only too willing to help, not realising that he is unleashing a whirlwind that will tear through his bachelor pad, bringing his agitated parents, changing his relationship with long suffering on/off girlfriend Connie and producing laugh after laugh from a delighted audience.
