Swindon Road Club –Try Club Cycling

Join Swindon Wheelers on a taster ride to try club road cycling

This is a great way to experience the social side of cycling, meeting other cyclists whilst learning the etiquette of safe group riding.

Club members will be on hand to chat and help with advice so all you need to do is turn up with your road bike and say hello at the start.

Saturday 15 June - Starting at Peatmoor School

Route: Flat route of 28 miles on the back roads to Greasy Joe’s Café, Cirencester (where we stop) and back.

Monday 17 June - Starting at The Kingsdown Pub

Route: Mildly challenging route of 38 miles on quiet roads to the Fishermans Cafe at South Cerney (short cuts are available!!) and back.

Please note: It’s not a beginner’s ride, so you should be comfortable to ride at a pace around 15mph, however we won’t leave anyone behind.

Saturday 22 June - Starting at Peatmoor School

Age: 16 and over. Helmets are compulsory.
