Lydiard House & Park to hold FREE talks on herbal cures

Lydiard’s head gardener Simon Brooks will give two talks on the medicinal uses of plants on Wednesday and Saturday, including a tour of the restored Georgian Walled Garden before explaining the history of some of the plants in the garden and their medicinal uses in the past.
There are letters in the Lydiard House Collection, written by Lady Johanna St John in the 1660s, which talk about particular plants and reveal her love of the Lydiard gardens, which will be discussed during the event.
