Once again a bumper crowd packed in the market square to enjoy the switching-on of the Christmas lights, plus music from the Highworth Silver band, mince pies, fairground rides, carol singing and even an appearance from Santa on his sleigh!
The honour of being on the button this year was given to Emily Brewer & George Witmore, who both won a Christmas prayer competition organised by Highworth Churches.
