Backstage high jinks take centre stage in this uproarious comedy when the world’s greatest tenor agrees to take part in Cleveland Grand Opera’s production of ’Othello’, but then accidentally overdoses on tranquillizers and is unable to perform.

 

Replaced by a hapless understudy looking for his big break, complications arise when the gallant tenor finally comes to his senses, - and chaos on a truly operatic scale ensues!

 

A hilarious tale that wins with big laughs from mistaken identity, mixed signals and romantic struggles.
