The Gig to Remember

This November The Gig to Remember is coming to Swindon.

 

With live music from the band Jonathan Ross claimed ‘should have their own tribute act’ The Bootleg Beatles, and Duke Beatbox - a band like no other.

 

 

The Bootleg Beatles have won over the most-hardened sceptics and drawn critical-acclaim across the globe. And, with a little help from their orchestral ensemble, they even manage to reproduce live on stage songs The Fab Four never actually performed themselves. Every tiny detail is meticulously covered from costumes to authentic period instruments; from their witty ‘Scouse’ banter to their ‘inflection perfect’ vocal mimicry.

 

 

The November gig also features Duke Beatbox, who perform a massive array of covers with only three voices and one guitar, incorporating beatbox and vocal basslines, intelligently mixing song into song with high energy and absolutely NO backing tracks, looping or sampling.

 

The Gig to Remember is being held to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s Research UK.
