Really Roman Creative Workshops
Swindon Museum & Art Gallery celebrates all things Roman this summer
The Swindon Museum & Art Gallery
Friday 15 & Saturday 16 August 2014, 10.00am - 2.00pm
This August the Swindon Museum & Art Gallery will be displaying their amazing collection of
Roman brooches that were discovered in Wanborough in 1989.
On Friday 15th and Saturday 16th August 2014, they will also be holding '
Really Roman' creative workshops with two drop in crafts activities for £2 a child.
On the Friday, you can make a laurel leaf head-dress or a mosaic coaster. On Saturday you can choose between a Roman badge or a book mark. The sessions will be running between 10am and 2pm each day every day and all materials will be provided.
