Uncover the past at Lydiard Park with Senior Geophysicist Ben Urmston

Senior Geophysicists Ben Urmston from Wessex Archaeology and his team undertook a research project within the grounds of Lydiard Park earlier this year with the aim of identifying hidden archaeological features.
This is a unique chance to find out about the latest geophysical techniques used and the fascinating results revealed as you are guided through the park and introduced to the long lost 17th century formal gardens which preceded the 1760’s remodelled landscape which we see today.
Walk and talk lasts approximately 1 hour.
