UTC Open Day
Discover what the engineering college has to offer in its first ever open day
UTC Swindon, Bristol Street, Swindon
Saturday 18 October 2014, 10.00am - 3.00pm
A guided tour of the college will be given around the site which includes light filled professional workshops and classrooms that reflect the industry workplace, lecture theatre and an innovative ‘hub’ area for generating ideas, socialising and inspiring the students.
Tours will be given every hour from 10.00 am - 3.00 pm. Principal, Angela Barker-Dench, will also be talking through a quick presentation about the new engineering college.
Members of staff will be on hand to provide explanations of the curriculum and the specialist engineering education. A presentation about UTC Swindon will also be given, providing a detailed overview about the most talked about concept in Swindon.
