The Pear Tree Hotel hosts a special gin testing event with wine and spirit expert Jill Frost

Wiltshire residents are invited to a gin tasting event at The Pear Tree Hotel in Purton this October.

 

The event, which costs £25 per person, is being hosted by the Young family who have been running the hotel for almost 30 years. Wine and spirit expert Jill Frost, a member of the Easy Wine Club, will be leading the tasting and will be guest speaker on Friday October 16.

 

Alix Young, hotel manager, said: “We hope this event will be of interest to people across Wiltshire. Gin is becoming increasingly popular and this is an opportunity to try six different varieties in a lovely setting. The event begins about 6.30pm with Jill’s presentation half an hour later.”
