Wood Street once again played host to one of the best afternoons in the Swindon calendar, as hundreds enjoyed festive food, gift stalls & entertainment at the annual Christmas Lights switch-on in Old Town.

On the big stage at 5pm, Santa was joined by special guest Shelley Rudman from nearby Pewsey, who won Olympic silver at the Winter Games in 2006, and young Mailie and her Mum, Lisa. That after some brilliant dancing & musical entertainment from the likes of the Wilkes Academy (see video below), Croft Primary School Choir, Bobbi's Academy of Dance, Thomas ‘Macca’ McCarthy & many more.
