A ukulele in one hand and a mouthful of broken words, Too Pretty To Punch grapples with what it means to be human when you don't fit in any of the boxes.

 

 

What is a Scratch Performance?

 

A Shoebox Scratch gives theatre makers the opportunity to develop and share a new idea. It’s about seeing and supporting the beginnings of new work before its fully developed.

 

Giving audiences a chance to watch, discuss, and be part of the creation of something brilliant.

 

Tickets for our scratch performances are ‘Pay What You Decide’, which means you don’t have to pay until after you have seen a show.

 

We want to make theatre accessible to everyone, so for 'Pay What You Decide' performances we do not charge for entry, but we still need to raise money for these events to keep happening and support future artists.

 

If money’s tight don’t worry, but if not, please think about what you would normally pay for a night at the theatre - every penny you give will be directly invested into the show and the venue.
