New Equine Study Option For 16-18 Year Olds

Students interested in Higher Education or a future in the sports industry are invited to two open mornings at Rein and Shine Equestrian Centre to find out about a new and exciting career opportunity.

 

The new course, for 16-18-year-olds, is a BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sport (Performance and Excellence with additional Equine) and will be commencing in September 2019.

 

It is worth 3 A Levels and is a new addition to the Virtual Learning UK (VLUK) range of BTEC options.

 

 

In partnership with Rein and Shine, VLUK offers an alternative education and career path for students that might prefer a way of studying outside the school environment.

 

The BTEC course will be based at Rein and Shine’s countryside facility in Braydon, near Swindon and will focus on sports performance and excellence with the addition of some equine practical each week.

 

No previous experience with horses is necessary and students will frequently leave the classroom to engage in practical activities in a professional environment.
