Indie pop band to make second appearance at the Oasis
Indie pop band Scouting for Girls are stopping off at the Oasis for the second time after announcing their latest UK tour.
The three piece chart toppers will play at the Swindon Borough Council-owned leisure centre on Tuesday, 11 May.
The group, made up of Roy Stride, Greg Churchouse and Peter Ellard, last performed at the Oasis in November 2008, but were also on the bill at Radio 1’s Big Weekend at Lydiard Park last May.
Last year saw the band nominated for three Brit Award nominations including Best British Breakthrough Act, Best British Live Act and Best British Single.
The concert will be standing only and under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets are priced at £22.50 plus a £2.50 booking fee and go on sale from 9am on Friday, 5 February.
