Hundreds get on their bikes for Macmillan Cancer Support

Sunday 06 June saw hundreds of cyclists take to the hills around Swindon in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

The 14th annual Castles Bike Ride featured beginners and experienced cyclists take one of three routes (10 miles, 18 or 28) starting and finishing at the Croft Sports Centre in Old Town to Barbury Castle via Wroughton and over the Marlborough Downs.

 

The event was started by new Swindon Mayor Rex Barnet.

"It's been another fantastic turnout this year," said organiser Jill Greenaway.

 

"I'd like to thank every who took part and those who helped on the day."
