Swindon Festival of Literature 2010 - Knitting & Knowing
KNITTING & KNOWING – with needles, knowledge, EMMA TURNER & MELISSA McBRIDEHere is an opportunity to knit yarn and yarn.
Knitting lends itself to many things: focussing fingers on one thing and the mind on many!
Knitters are at ease together and stories flow.
Poems will too, from Jill Sharp and BlueGate Poets.
As well as knitting, and knowing quite a bit, Emma and Melissa both keep sheep, spin, and tell stories.
This is an evening for anyone who likes good words, good company, and home-made biscuits too!
