Expect all the usual thrills and spills in the skies over Swindon, with this year's special highlights and appearances at RAF Fairford including:  

 

Jet Fighters

The world's most advanced jet fighter the USAF F22A Raptor taking to the skies.

 

 

Air Displays

Daredevil flying from the world's leading aerobatic teams including the UK's very own RAF Red Arrows and the first display in the UK from a Cold War jet fighter for almost a decade as the Air Tattoo welcomes the Romanian Air Force and its MiG-21 Lancers.

 

The 2009 Red Bull Air Race World Champions, Team Bonhomme will also be appearing.

  

Battle of Britain 70th Anniversary

The official tribute to Britain's 'finest hour' as aircraft icons of the past meet their modern counterparts in a breathtaking display to mark the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain including Spitfires, Hurricanes and a Messerschmitt Bf109.

 

Plus....

Over two miles of static aircraft, interactive activities and ground exhibitions including the Bloodhound SCC model – the jet propelled vehicle set to challenge the world land speed record.
