X-Factor winner to appear at the Oasis

 

Pop queen Alexandra Burke will be stopping off in Swindon as part of her first UK tour.

 

Alexandra, who won the fifth series of ITV’s X-Factor, will perform all her hit songs at the Oasis on Monday, 24 January as part of her 18-date All Night Long tour next year.

The star’s debut album Overcome went straight into Number One last year with four of the songs becoming huge hits including All Night Long and Broken Heels.

The album also produced two Number One singles in the shape of Hallelujah and Bad Boys and she is set to release her brand new single Start Without You this week.

 

Overcome is already a double platinum selling album having sold more than 600,000 copies in the UK and Alexandra was nominated for a BRIT award for Best British Single in 2009 and 2010.

 

The singer also picked up the Glamour Women of the Year Award for Best Newcomer in 2010.

 

Tickets for Alexandra’s Swindon show go on sale on Friday (10 September) from 9am and are priced at £30 plus a £2.50 booking fee.
