Swindon Wildcats' 25 Season Celebration

Watch Swindon Legends face-off against current stars

 

Celebrate 25 years of ice hockey this January!

 

The Swindon Ice Hockey team are hosting this HUGE game at the Link Centre to celebrate the sport in the town.

The game will feature a Swindon Legends team containing many of the stars who have represented the club and its various incarnations throughout the 25 season history. 

Fans from all eras can rest assured that some of the biggest names to ever pull on Swindon Ice Hockey shirt will be in attendance both on and off the ice.  The first name down on the Wildcats Legends team list is none other than the club's all-time top point scorer, Daryl Lipsey! 

On top of the excitement of seeing former Legends take to the ice once again, the current Wildcats line up will be pitched head to head in an exciting skills competition.

Following the game, there will be a special after party so that fans can meet and greet their heroes in the flesh.

Fans are also being encouraged to nominate their Swindon All Time Ice Hockey legend.  

All nominations will then go before a panel with the top 12 being featured in the Swindon Advertiser with an opportunity for fans to vote for their favourite and win the chance to present the Advertiser sponsored award to the recipient at the celebration game.
