Sally Magnusson

SALLY MAGNUSSON – on The Life of Pee

What do you know about your urine footprint?

Did you know that wee can make bread rise, beer foam, dyes stick, bombs explode, and has been a key ingredient in famous paintings?

Did you know that the Fullers, Tuckers, and Walkers owe their names to it?

Do you know which rock star led to the phenomenon of ‘excitable mass peeing’?

Sally Magnusson, author, prize-winning journalist, daughter of Mastermind’s Magnus, and television presenter, knows the answers to all these questions, and a great deal more.

Her latest book, The Life of Pee: the story of how urine got everywhere, means she had to take a very close look at this mysterious ‘waste’ liquid.

Tickets - £6 (£5)

Sally Magnusson at 6.30pm
