Swindon International Kite Festival

Fantastic, colourful kite displays flying high at Lydiard Park - THIS WEEKEND

 

Organised by White Horse Kite Flyers, there will be displays of kites of all shapes and sizes, from giant parafoils to miniature tissue paper kites by flyers from all over Britain and a number from overseas.

Weather permitting, a full programme of kite displays will run at Lydiard Park on both days in arena 1 whilst arena 2 will be continuous flying of kites of all types.

 

Kites will be available to buy at trade stands for all skill levels and you can then go and try out your own moves!

Kids can have lots of fun on a selection of rides and pick up some tips from one of the workshops on offer.

There will be food stalls or you can always pack up a picnic and enjoy a great day out watching the colourful displays.
