It's Woodstock, Man!

Solam 2011: Roves Farm hosts this two-day Summer Of Love And Music festival featuring two stages and showcasing many local and not so local bands and artists.

On Saturday evening there will be a re-creation of the Woodstock festival with local artists paying tribute to some of the original acts - if you missed it the first time round, here's your chance to soak up the atmosphere of the late 60s!

 

Saturday: Mantrasphere, Alphabet Backwards, The Listening Device, The Shudders, The Hamsters From Hell, The Porn Issue, Rumour Shed, Grubby Jack.

Saturday Evening - Woodstock Homage: Zoe Mead as Melanie Safka, Tiggy York as Janis Joplin, Phlemmy Kilmeister as Joe Cocker, Ian O'Regan as Johnny Winter, Mark Johnson as Carlos Santana, Acoustic Knights as Crosby, Stills & Nash, Who's Next as the Who, Innes Sibun as Jimi Hendrix.

Sunday: The Debuts, Coach, Things That Blink, Reachback, The Fixed, Control The Storm, Carmen, Sky Burns Red, Dirt Royal, Nudy Bronque, Earl Jam, Sloe Jam, Bateleurs, Talis Kimberley, The Jess Hall Band.

There will also be stalls, workshops, rides and many other attractions.

This family-friendly event is in aid of local charity, the Goldenhar support trust.

Tickets - £10 per day/£20 weekend

Anyone who buys a weekend ticket can camp for free!
