With Christmas spirit in full swing across Swindon, it was the STEAM museum's turn to grab attention this weekend, with a Winter Wonderland filled with the traditional sounds of bell ringers, brass bands and barrel organs.
It was a shoppers haven with an array of jewellery, pottery, paintings and traditional crafts available from 40 market stalls.
And with all that shopping building up appetites, there was a Christmas café offering hearty soups, mince pies and mulled wine – perfect refreshments for Christmas shoppers.
Coun. Justin Tomlinson, Cabinet Member for Leisure, Culture and Recreation, said: “The magical atmosphere of this event, with so much to see and do, makes it the ideal for children and families.”
