Highworth Christmas Lights 2007

Despite the rain, over 1,000 people turned up in Highworth Market Square on Friday, for the annual Christmas lights switch-on.

Hundreds of visitors also enjoyed skating on a specially-constructed ice rink, which offered no end of fun for children and adults alike.

Richard Scotchmer, Highworth's Mayor, said: “The weather has been such a shame, but it's great to see everyone enjoying one of the town's biggest annual events.”
