It was definitely a 'Tree For All' last weekend, as the seventh Swindon Forest Festival took place on The Lawn.
Already one of the biggest 'green' family events in the region, this year proved especially popular with over 6,000 people attending throughout the day.
They were attracted by the wonderful weather and a range of activities and entertainment that included folk music, basket weaving, wood turning, interactive theatre, craft stalls and an organic food market.
"The turnout has once again exceeded expectations," said Alison Bruce, of the Great Western Community Forest, who organised the event.
"This festival is crucial in highlighting environmental issues to people of all ages, especially the young. It's a festival with the focus on fun, but also learning. The more people are made aware of why our woodlands and wildlife are so important, the better chance we have in preserving it all for everyone to enjoy."
