Michael Watson charity dinner 

'The Peoples Champion' in Swindon

 

Super-middleweight boxing legend Michael Watson was in Swindon on Saturday night, for a charity dinner at the De Vere hotel.

Watson, the man who was once told he would never walk again after a fight against Chris Eubank left him comatised for 40 days, was joined by fellow middleweight Steve Collins, known as "The Celtic Warrior."

The pair were invited to Swindon by KM Promotions - who have also brought the likes of Paul Merson, Razor Ruddock, Larry Holmes and Eddie Neilson to the town.
