Shaun Williamson, the actor who shot to fame as Barry in Eastenders, is all set to take to the stage at the Wyvern later this year.

Shaun, who has more recently featured in Ricky Gervais' award-winnning comedy Extras, has been confirmed as Abanazar in Aladdin.

 

The spectacular performance will see Shaun starring alongside a number of particularly interesting characters - including Swindon's first ever 3D genie!

 

The month of performances, which is scheduled to begin in December, has already sold a record number of tickets.

 

Michael Harrison, Managing Director of Qdos Pantomimes who are bringing Aladdin to Swindon, said:

 

"All of the familiar, family pantomime fun is incorporated into a Qdos pantomime but the special effects add another dimension to the audiences' experience and enjoyment."
