Armed Forces family fun day
Swindon celebrates the past, present and future of our Armed Forces
Swindon honoured the past, present and future of her Majesty's Armed Forces with a Family Funday.
Over three thousand people venturing out throughout the day to be entertained by motorcycle displays, human table football, assault courses, climbing walls, fairground rides and much, much more.
Armed Forces Day is a national event, which recognises the work of all of Britain’s Armed Forces, and the Family Funday was the centrepiece of a week of celebrations in the town, promoted by inSwindon.
“We are delighted to do our bit to support Armed Forces Day," commented Simon Jackson, chief executive of inSwindon.
"We know local people feel strongly about supporting our Armed Forces, and we are confident they are going to help us make it a day to remember.”
